With SightTracker PTZ, the camera moves to the target, zooms in, and keeps the intruder in frame as the event unfolds. With the SightTracker PTZ Controller, certified third-party PTZ cameras can be steered to detected targets using the same geospatial handoff — so operators know where to look and can focus on the response.
How SightTracker Works
SightTracker PTZ integrates embedded AI tracking directly into high-performance PTZ hardware, using the real-world location data generated by SightSensor smart thermal cameras to automatically track human targets with speed and accuracy. Once the target is acquired, SightTracker PTZ continues tracking intruder, keeping the target centered as it moves through the site.
How It Works:
- Thermal Detection Handoff: SightSensor detects and classifies targets, providing GPS coordinates to SightTracker PTZ
- AI Classification Tracking: Embedded AI identifies persons and maintains lock-on beyond the detecting camera’s field of view
- Real-Time Repositioning: PTZ automatically re-centers on target up to 10 times per second with zero operator intervention
- Intelligent Zoom Control: Automatically adjusts magnification to keep targets optimally sized within the frame
